Affiliate disclosure
National Mall Tour takes part in the GetYourGuide affiliate programme. If you book a tour through a link or a booking widget on this site, GetYourGuide pays me a commission, and you pay exactly what you would have paid going to GetYourGuide directly.
How it works
Every booking link and availability widget here points at GetYourGuide, which is a licensed online travel agency. Booking happens there, on their checkout, under their terms. If you book after clicking through from this site, they pay me a percentage of the tour price. Nothing is added to your total for it, and I never see your payment details.
What it does not do
It does not decide what these pages say. The clearest evidence is on the site itself: the most-reviewed product I cover is also the lowest-scoring one, and I say so at length in the hop-on hop-off review. Every review names the people the tour is wrong for. And on a lot of pages the honest answer is that you should spend nothing at all, because the Mall and its memorials charge no admission — see is the National Mall free.
What I am not
I am not a tour operator, a reseller or a ticket agent. I am not the National Park Service and I am not the Smithsonian. I am one former ranger writing about a park he used to work in, which is set out on the about page.
